HOW TO USE


​TO PREHEAT:
​Turn on by pressing Far Infrared ON/OFF button and use UP/DOWN arrows to adjust timer

​FOR SESSION:
​Check to ensure sauna is still on, then adjust timer to desired setting

​SETUP:
​Take sauna towel roll and wrap from linen cabinet and setup as shown below

​CLEANUP:
​When finished, place all linens in dirty hamper and wipe down door handles

​REQUEST:
​Please enjoy all other therapies first, and save sauna for last



WAVELENGTHS

Most saunas focus exclusively on far-infrared wavelengths, but there are many benefits to using a range of different types of wavelengths.  Our sauna is equipped with additional heaters that also emit mid and near infrared to produce a full spectrum sauna experience. 



Note that using all 3 will intensify your session and yield more sweat in a shorter period of time, so we recommend 2-3 sessions sans full spectrum to gauge your tolerance. This is a great asset for those wanting to pack a lot of punch into each wellness visit!

ADDING FULL SPECTRUM

Use on/off button on the right (full spectrum)


The number of times you press the button will correspond to the intensity


Pressing once = low, twice = medium, 

three times = high heat


Pressing a fourth time will turn off front heaters



SAUNA TOWELS

Linens are in the tall cabinet


You will need:

1 sauna towel roll

1 wrap/gown


Wraps come in 3 sizes:

Regular = Silver

Large = Grey

XL = Black


Each roll = 4 towels:

1 long, 2 medium, 1 small


Longest = bench cover

Light Medium = backrest cover

Dark Medium = floor cover

Small = sweat towel


To begin, place towels in sauna as shown


When finished, place used towels in hamper

HELPFUL TIPS

Take a cold water from mini fridge to stay hydrated during session 


DO NOT place water bottle on top of front heaters - only on floor or next to you on the bench


Cold towel available in mini fridge for wiping off and cooling down after sauna


Sauna gets very hot which may be difficult for electronics. Devices in sauna are used at own risk!


Listen to your body and if you begin to feel unwell then it is time to end your sauna session


It is common to feel sick when detoxing, so listen to your body and end your session early if you begin to feel unwell


*Overtaxing your detox pathways will make you feel worse while extending the process. It is better to go slow and steady

CHROMOTHERAPY

In addition to the many health benefits gained from regular sauna sessions, you will simultaneously be receiving the healing properties of color therapy (aka chromotherapy). 


Every day we feature a different color and rotate through a sequence of 8 colors every 8 days. This helps ensure guests are exposed to a spectrum of color frequencies and can experience a wide variety of positive effects for both the physical and mental body.

QUIRKS

For unknown reasons, the sauna music player will randomly switch to white noise. 


If this happens, simply push the SRC button one time on the music and the music will resume. 

(This is located inside the sauna in the top left corner of ceiling)


The only logical explanation is to assume we have a health-conscious resident ghost :)

BEFORE YOU LEAVE

TURN SAUNA BACK ON AND SET TIMER TO 60 MINUTES.
